It is my great pleasure to write this short testimonial letter regarding our experience using your Engine Carbon Clean services at Southern Waste Systems. During the period from October 2015 to February 2016 Engine Carbon Clean cleaned approximately 60 of our MACK and Peterbilt refuse trucks. During this time our technical staff closely monitored the effects and results to our trucks. The feedback from our supervisors, mechanics, and drivers was 100% positive. We experienced a huge reduction in REGEN problems, and down time relating to DPF's. We saw a marked reduction in emissions which led to a cleaner looking fleet, and drivers reported the trucks have much more power. All this related to substantial saving to our company bottom line. I am convinced that your service made a big difference to our fleet, and we would be still using your services had SWS not been sold to Waste Management.
Jerry with HHO Central Indiana came into our shop one day telling me how he could save my fleet money and offering to do a free demo. We sent our DPF filters out for Chemical cleaning and that vendor was a friend, so I was extremely skeptical of the HHO service working. I plugged my laptop into the ECU and pulled a trip report and the DPF system parameters before Jerry did his HHO service and then again after he was finished. Then after reviewing the results of the service, along with researching the company on the internet, it was an easy decision to call him back for another service. Before Jerry started the second service we discussed the HHO Central Indiana PM Service agreement and I signed up for 2 years of preventative maintenance for all 30 of our trucks twice a year. The HHO 1-Hose, 1-Hour service is simple, effective, and everything Jerry said it was. I'm glad he talked me into the demo.
In early-2018 HHO's hydrogen carbon cleaning services were recommended to our service department as we were suffering with the exhaust after treatment problems on our CAT 980 loader. Following a HHO 1 hour service, our 980K loader returned to normal operations and continued to perform its typical REGEN cycle. The result of using HHO service just on that one machine saved our company over $ 6,000.00. HHO is now part of our preventative maintenance program on all of our tier 4 engines in fleet to avoid cost repairs and replacement parts associated with these types of engines. All of these engines, including our Fleet of Mack trucks and Caterpillar equipment, are serviced annually by HHO during our holiday shutdown around Christmas. The service is great value for money and has saved our company thonds of dollars over the past 18 months.
